I agree with you that farmers, especially corporate farms (not necessary the small family run operations) are destroying our public lands and causing the ultimate extinction of our wild mustangs and burros. However, you should not hate the cow itself, all the cow is doing is trying to survive. The farms owners are to blame, not the cow. I have 2 cows on my property, both bulls, and they are smart, funny, and very sweet animals. I do not eat what I raise because I can't. I can't look them in the eye, feed them a bottle, or pet and play with them - then send them off to their deaths. I can buy the meat already processed at a grocery store and not think of where it came from. I am the same way with my goats, chickens, rabbits, etc. I really hope that I interpreted this site properly and that you really don't hate the animal itself. They are innocent. They don't want to die. They DO have feelings too.

Now I didn't write this piece, Dan did, so I might be wrong...but I think he was joking.
In my opinion, I would love to take a cow, milk it dry, make cheese then kill it and eat it with its own cheese on it.
Noone wants to die, but everything does.
I'll be sure to ask Dan to let us all know the true meaning behind this piece.

I respect your relationship with your farm animals, Kassy. I have a dog at home and I could never imagine killing and eating him.
I hate the Cow Itself. Screw what it does to the land, those animals have caused me nothing but trouble. I've had to watch other people eat cake and ice cream at every birthday party I've ever been to while I get a bag of jelly beans, including my own birthdays. Can you imagine little 5 year old Danny sitting at a party table with all his 5 year old friends and not getting any cake? Denny's, TGIFridays, Applebees, TacoBell, Hardies, Dominios, PizzaHut, Olive Garden, Steak 'n Shake etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc are all off limits because of beef / cheese / milk / butter / cow.
