In my mind, this is the same logic that we should be punishing gun manufacturers for distributing a device (handgun) that third parties can use unlawfully. I just makes me sick to see how far they can go to destroy fair-use stuff.

I agree. The Gun control example you mentioned is exactly what I had in mine when I responded to that ruling. and that is just the obvious thing.. we can find more crazy stuff to show how silly this ruling is.
